Yu-Gi-Oh! is a sensation, not only in Japan and America, but around the world. Cascade Games holds a variety of tournaments in Vancouver B.C., Seattle and Spokane WA, Portland and Salem OR, and Sacramento CA and the Bay area.

Honor, sportsmanship, knowledge, and your competitive nature will all be needed if you want to push your way to the top of the field. Can you be one of the best?

At our Sneak Peek tournaments you have the chance to get cards from the next set before the go on sale in the stores. You can play in the Open Play area, with cards that you receive when you enter the event, or you can play in our Constructed tournaments. At Sneak Peeks, our Constructed events will be Advanced format, so make sure you have checked out the most recent version of the Restricted list.

When you are ready for a more competitive environment, bring your Advanced format deck to a Regionals. At these tournaments, the prizes aren't the only thing that you can win. The top 4 finalists all receive an invitation to the next National championships.

How would you like to win a laptop computer? A PSP? How about a Nintendo DS? Maybe an IPod? Well, you can, just by playing Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm talking about the Shonen Jump championships. These events are a chance for you to test your skills and win amazing prizes.

What do I need to play in these tournaments?

First, good sportsmanship. If you can behave with honor, and treat your opponents with respect, then you are on the path of the duelist. Second, knowledge of the game. You need to know the rules, and know which cards you are allowed to play with. Finally, bring a pen, some paper, and a deck. That's it!

Check out the format for the event that you want to go to (most of our events will be Advanced format), and be ready to play. It's important to try your best, but it's just as important to have fun. Learn from players who are more experienced, and then help teach newer players. You can be a champion, go for it!
